Karl Joe Hidalgo, deputy spokesperson of RJPC, in a statement said they committed the said act against 45-year-old Leticio Cordova of Barangay Mabini because of his alleged involvement in a rape incident.
The group also alleged that Cordova even reportedly threatened the minor victim and her family.
Cordova was gunned down by six unidentified armed men at their house on April 17 while he was having a drinking session with his wife and brother.
Cordova’s alleged rape case was also one of the angles being eyed by the police in the incident.
Meanwhile, the RJPC also condemned the murder of 33-year-old Jesus Pason Jr., a tricycle driver and a member of Kadamay Negros, who was shot by unidentified perpetrators in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City on April 15.
