The country’s official regulating body of the Filipino Language, Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino (KWF) is once again in a hunt for this year’s Dangal ng WIkang Filipino 2022.
Dangal ng Wikang Filipino aims to recognize every individuals, offices, institutions, government agencies, and/or the private sectors with special contributions or achievements in promoting, developing and preserving the Filipino language.
To qualify, nominated individuals must be forty (40) years of age and older. For organizations, offices, government agencies, and/or the private sector, it must have been established for at least five (5) years.
Nominees must also be able to present their works that contribute to the Filipino language in every field and discipline. It should also come from the recommendation or group outside the KWF.
Furthermore, the following documents must be completed in along brown envelop:
- KWF Nomination Form
- Nomination letter stating a summary of the qualification of the nominated individual or organization and signed by the nominee
- Curriculum vitae (if individual) or organizations profile (if organizational.
- Proof of works that contribute to the Filipino language and/or any native language in the country.
All nominees can send the said documents at Lupon sa Dangal ng Wikang Filipino 2022 Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino 2/P Gusali Watson, 1610 Kalye J.P. Laurel San Miguel, Maynila.
KWF would be accepting nominees for the Dangal ng WIkang Filipino 2022 up until July 1, 5pm.
