BACOLOD City – The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) here will get additional personnel from the Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 to increase its force.
This was revealed by Colonel Romy Palgue, Nocppo director, in a virtual press conference yesterday after his recent meeting in Cebu City with Brigadier General Rolando Miranda, PRO-6 director.
“I’m very happy kasi madadagdagan na ang tropa dito sa Negros,” he added.
Palgue said the regional office is eyeing to add a company-size contingent to Nocppo, considering that the province is a big area.
One company usually has more than 20 personnel.
At present, Nocppo has 2,000 personnel deployed to various cities and municipalities in the province.
Earlier, Palgue called on interested individuals to join the police service.
