This was confirmed by Lieutenant Abegael Donasco, NOCPPO’s Deputy Public Information Officer, based on the results of the swab test released yesterday.
Donasco said all police chiefs in the province were also directed to undergo swab tests while on self-isolation.
These policemen were isolated after they were exposed to a COVID-19 positive case when they attended a drug summit here last week, although they had no direct contact to the infected patient.
The said COVID case was a female official of the Department of Interior and Local Government Unit (DILG) from Iloilo.
Donasco said that police chiefs are still on isolation, pending the results of their swab tests.
