BACOLOD City – Colonel Romy Palgue, director of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) here, appealed for the cooperation of the public for a safe and peaceful celebration of the holiday season.
Palgue said all personnel in all units from Nocppo headquarters down to the lowest unit, were already informed of their tasks during Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
Palgue said they also tapped force multipliers to help them in their deployment in various strategic areas.
“We are closely coordinating with the local government units (LGUs), and we are very thankful for their support on the mobility assets and other resources of the police,” he added.
To have a peaceful Christmas, we need your full cooperation by strictly observing the health and safety protocols amid the pandemic.
Palgue said Nocppo is on full alert for the holiday season, adding that they are ready for deployment.
“We have strengthened our police force, thus we are ready for any eventualities,” Palgue said, considering that the anniversary of the New People’s Army (NPA) is on December 26.
Palgue is encouraging everyone to unite and help one another to have peaceful and meaningful holidays.
