ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The family of the Capizeña military nurse who was stabbed dead by a construction worker in Manila wants the suspect to rot in jail.
According to retired Colonel Bennett Aguilar, they doubt the sincerity of suspect John Louie Brosas, 19, of Barangay Comembo, Makati City when he sought their forgiveness for killing his daughter, 2nd Lieutenant Jennett Beron Aguilar, 31, a nurse of the AFP’s V. Luna Hospital and native of Barangay Milibili here.
“Wala namon makita ang sinseridad sa iya nga pagpangayo sang pasaylo,” Col. Aguilar said.
Earlier, Janet Aguilar sought the help of authorities to give justice to the death of their daughter.
“Ginpadako mo sang maayo imo anak tapos tamasaan lang sang iban,” a tearful Janet told reporters here.
She said her daughter was set to marry her fiancé, Philippine Coast Guard personnel Arvie Supetran, in January 2020.
Jennett’s body was flown here Sunday morning on board a C-130 flight of Philippine Air Force. Her remains lie at their house in Milibili.
