BACOLOD City – Nine persons were arrested in separate drug bust operations in Negros Occidental from July 28 to 29, 2020.
The drug busts led to the confiscation of P177,768 worth of suspected shabu
In Bago City, Julie Ann De Oca, 36, Richard Porcel, 29, Vernon Tagamolila, 34, and Jeffrey De Jesus, 40 were collared at Barangay Lag-asan last Tuesday, after police recovered from them 8.5 grams of suspected shabu worth P57,000, the P500 marked money, another P500 cash, and an improvised tooter.
In Talisay City, Timber Jan Ausan, 18, and Jordan Malanday, 23 were apprehended at Barangay Zone 15 on the same day. Police seized from them 17 sachets of suspected shabu worth P57,800, the P500 marked money, and P900.
The following day, Elbert Carado, 43, and Roger Lopez, 42 were arrested at Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City last Wednesday, after they allegedly yielded P61,200 worth of suspected shabu, three lighters, P120, the P500 marked money, and P4,000 boodle money.
Also arrested that day at Barangay Old Poblacion, Escalante City was Russel Siasico, 28, of the said village. Police recovered from him 10 sachets of suspected shabu worth P1,768, and the P500 marked money.
