BACOLOD City – Police arrested nine persons and seized P440,240 worth of illegal drugs in separate buy-bust operations in Negros Occidental from June 2 to 3, 2022.
The operations were conducted in the cities of Cadiz, San Carlos, and Talisay, and the town of Binalbagan.
Three persons were caught with suspected marijuana while six others were arrested for possessing suspected shabu.
The biggest drug haul was reported in Binalbagan town where P360,000 worth of suspected marijuana was seized.
Aside from suspected marijuana, P80,240 worth of suspected shabu was also confiscated by police operatives.
The biggest haul for suspected shabu was reported in San Carlos City, with the seizure of P61,200 worth of the said contraband.
