ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The local government here is testing a new garbage collection scheme in the city proper area.
Roxas City General Services Office (CGSO) head Glenn Amane said that before 8 p.m. every day, business establishments and local residents in the city proper should have placed their trash outside their establishments and houses so that garbage collectors could easily collect them.
Amane said the evening trash collection was initiated by the previous administration but was only implemented in the administration of Mayor Ronnie Dadivas.
Amane urged the public to segregate their garbage.
The dry run will last for a week.
