Newport Mall at Resorts World Manila has opened the Department of Foreign Affairs Temporary Off-site Passport Service (DFA TOPS) to help accommodate more Filipino travelers, especially Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), with the processing of necessary documents for international travel.
The DFA TOPS will serve as an extension of the government agency in issuing passport services, including issuance and renewal of passports by Filipino citizens. The addition of DFA satellite offices comes as the government sought to address the increased demand for passport services and curb the rise in fake passport appointment slots online, along with the issuance of tampered documents.
Located at 3/F, Newport Mall, the DFA TOPS will only serve individuals who have confirmed appointments through www.passport.gov.ph. Upon confirming their preferred date and time and processing type through the portal, registrants will receive a reference number for paying their passport processing fee. The passport processing fee may be settled at DFA’s authorized payment centers.
DFA will then send a confirmation email with a passport appointment packet that containing a
checklist of passport requirements, confirmed DFA appointment schedule, confirmed application form and two copies of the eReceipt, which should be brought along with 2 valid IDs on the appointment day.

Megaworld Lifestyle Malls is also looking to open its third Bureau of Quarantine satellite office soon in Newport Mall to facilitate the issuance of the International Certificate of Vaccination (ICV), or “yellow cards”, to fully vaccinated individuals who intend to travel abroad, including departing OFWs. The ICV is recognized by the World Health Organization as official documentation for vaccination and is considered by several host countries as a travel document requirement.
Megaworld Lifestyle Malls opened its first BOQ satellite office in Eastwood City to accommodate residents near Quezon City, which was followed by the opening of the BOQ satellite office in Venice Grand Canal in McKinley Hill, for those living in Taguig City and other nearby cities.
“We have been a proud partner of the national government in providing mallgoers with convenient access to government services. We are committed to providing Filipinos with venues and facilities that are compliant with public health standards, so they can conveniently and safely process their travel requirements,” says Graham Coates, head of Megaworld Lifestyle Malls.
