ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Police Lt. Col. Aron Palomo vowed to intensify the internal cleansing policy of the PNP under General Guillermo Eleazar as he began his new assignment as Roxas City Police Station chief on June 1, 2021.
Palomo also vowed to continue the programs and projects of his predecessor Lt. Col. Ricardo Jomuad Jr., particularly illegal drugs and gambling.
“I want the police station be presentable while maintaining its cleanliness in the surrounding,” he stressed.
The 44-year-old Palomo is a native of Dingle, Iloilo and was chief of police of six municipal police stations.
He was also the public information officer of the Iloilo Police Provincial Office prior to being assigned to the logistic division of Police Regional Office (PRO-6).
Palomo also asked the support of the people and the local officials.
He said he was surprised that Brigadier General Rolando Miranda, PRO-6 regional director, tasked him to lead the Roxas City police.
Palomo’s assumption coincided with the imposition of the Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) in Roxas City.
