ROXAS CITY, Capiz — Four officers from the Capiz Police Provincial Office (CPPO) were cited during the command visit of newly appointed Police Regional Office 6 (PRO6) Acting Regional Director Brig. Gen. Josefino D. Ligan at Camp Apil in Barangay Lanot, Roxas City, on Thursday morning, July 10.
The “Medalya ng Kadakilaan” and “Medalya ng Kagalingan” were awarded to police personnel who demonstrated bravery, dedication and service beyond the call of duty.
The “Medalya ng Kadakilaan” was awarded to Police Lt. Col. Chris Arthemius Arceño Devaras and Patrolman Laurence Santos Magoleño of the Capiz Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit.
They were recognized for their successful anti-drug operations that led to the arrest of several suspects and the confiscation of illegal drugs.
Meanwhile, the “Medalya ng Kagalingan” was presented to Police Capt. Dennis Casiple Losbañes and Police Master Sgt. Ivan Dellomos Camacho of the Mambusao Municipal Police Station.
They were honored for their performance and commitment in preventing criminal activities in their area of responsibility.
The recognition aims to boost police morale and reinforce their integrity in serving the public.
