“One Piece” Season 2 will feature stranger islands, more powerful foes, and the pursuit of the legendary treasure that could crown Luffy as the King of the Pirates.
The live-action adaptation is based on Eiichiro Oda’s record-breaking manga, which has sold over 500 million copies globally across 100+ volumes.
Since its debut in 2023, the Netflix series has become a pop culture phenomenon, reaching #1 in over 75 countries, spending eight weeks on the Global Top 10, and making history as the first English-language Netflix show to top the charts in Japan.
The series has accumulated nearly 100 million views to date and received 11 nominations at the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Young Teen Series.
Created in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partner) and Netflix, the show continues to expand its universe off-screen with immersive fan experiences at Netflix House and a growing merchandise line featuring brands like LEGO and Moose Toys.
Season 2 is helmed by co-showrunners Matt Owens and Joe Tracz, with executive producers including Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe, and Steven Maeda. Netflix has already confirmed the show’s renewal for Season 3, led by co-showrunners Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes.
