ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A 35-year-old man died after he was stabbed by his 19-year-old nephew Monday afternoon in Barangay Li-ong here.
Bobby Taleon succumbed to a stab wound on his armpit inflicted by suspect Rexy Angelie Taleon.
Police investigation indicated that Bobby got mad after his sister and Rexy’s mother, Grace Marie Taleon, failed to cook food for dinner.
The victim, who was believed to be drunk, went berserk and took a knife, but Grace tried to restrain him from hurting them.
Instead, Grace cut herself with the knife and when Rexy saw his bloodied mother, he grabbed the knife and stabbed Bobby.
The victim was brought to the nearest hospital but he was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
Rexy surrendered to the Roxas City police, including the knife he used in stabbing his uncle.
