Nephew kills uncle in Hinigaran

BACOLOD City – A misunderstanding allegedly triggered a man to kill his uncle at Sitio Capino-B, Barangay Anahaw, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental last Saturday.
Police identified the victim as Ronilo Lucasan, 58, of the said village.
Investigation disclosed that Ronilo was inside his room when the suspect identified as 38-year-old Ronel Lucasan suddenly entered the room and allegedly stabbed him.
The victim managed to run but the suspect caught up with him.
Ronilo succumbed to multiple stab wounds, according to Captain Ryan Villasario, town police chief.
Villasario said the suspect was later arrested in a pursuit operation in the said village. However, police failed to recover the bolo used in the incident.
Villasario said they are probing if the two had a previous conflict.
