BACOLOD CITY — Negros Power has announced a PHP0.55 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) reduction in electricity rates for June 2025, offering direct relief to thousands of households and businesses within its franchise area.
In a press statement Monday, Negros Power said residential consumers will be charged PHP11.14 per kWh for this billing cycle, down from PHP11.69 in May.
A household using 200 kWh per month will save about PHP110—enough for groceries, school expenses or other daily needs.
“This rate adjustment is part of our ongoing commitment to ease the financial strain on our consumers,” Negros Power said.
“We understand the daily realities families face, and we’re doing our part to help lighten the load.”
The lower rate stems from the company’s strategic energy management and efficiency improvements.
Negros Power’s continuing line rehabilitation and system upgrades are producing results, with the feeder loss rate improving to 8.03 percent from 8.28 percent in May.
This reduction in power loss indicates improved infrastructure efficiency and contributes to lower overall costs.
June 2025 Commercial Rates:
- Low Voltage: PHP11.18/kWh
- High Voltage: PHP10.09/kWh
Negros Power reaffirmed its role as a community-focused energy provider.
“At Negros Power, we understand the pressure on household budgets,” the company said.
“That’s why we’re working non-stop to provide reliable, affordable power for every home and business.”
As the firm continues to enhance its services and roll out more innovative energy strategies, customers can expect even more efficient and consumer-focused solutions in the months to come.
