BACOLOD City – The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) here bested seven other police offices in Western Visayas in the Unit Performance Evaluation Rating (UPER) for June 2020.
The Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 rates the police offices every month based on various parameters.
During the evaluation, Nocppo garnered 86.70 percent, followed by Capiz Police Provincial Office with 86.30 percent, and Iloilo Police Provincial Office with 85.70 percent.
Nocppo has performed well in the field of operations and intelligence among the 11 parameters rated in UPER.
Colonel Romy Palgue, Nocppo officer-in-charge, lauded the personnel and the police stations for their dedication to duty that translated into the good performance evaluation rating.
The two parameters helped catapult the unit to the top position, he said.
He said this is a challenge to the provincial police force and the stakeholders on how to remain on top, not for recognition but for a safer and peaceful province.
