BACOLOD City – The head of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) in Negros Occidental is ready to take on more challenges with his recent promotion.
Commander Ludovico Librilla Jr., was recently promoted to the rank of Captain.
Librilla said the promotion was already confirmed last month but he flew to Manila last Friday for the pinning and donning of ranks held at the PCG headquarters.
Following such development, Librilla said he is just waiting for the reassignment order from the higher office if in case there will be movement.
“The higher the rank, the higher the responsibilities po sa PCG service,” he added.
He said that as officers in the organization, they just come and go. “Our position and designation is just only temporary,” he added.
Librilla previously served as deputy commander of PCG District Southern Visayas.
