BACOLOD City – The war against illegal drugs in Negros Occidental is successful.
This was revealed by Police Lieutenant Abegael Donasco, information officer of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo), during a virtual press briefing on Tuesday.
Donasco said the provincial police force was able to dismantle three out of the six drug groups operating in the province.
However, despite this, Donasco admitted that they could not arrest those involved in illegal drugs in just a blink of an eye.
“Hindi naman agad-agad mauubos, at least man lang nangalahati,” she said, adding that it means the anti-illegal drug campaign in the province is progressive.
With the existence of three drug groups, Donasco said they will continue to hunt down the members of these remaining groups.
