BACOLOD City – Authorities arrested a couple at Barangay Cabacungan, La Castellana, Negros Occidental last Monday for nine counts of robbery.
Operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG)-Negros Occidental, and the provincial police force collared Janny Marie Tan and her husband Dennis Tan.
Janny Marie is ranked by police as the 10th most wanted person in the province.
Dennis is also included in the “wanted list.”
Police served to the couple an arrest warrant issued by Himamaylan City Regional Trial Court Branch 55 Judge Walter Zorilla on June 1, 2020.
The court set a P100,000 bail for each suspect.
The couple is detained at Binalbagan Municipal Police Station.
In a press statement, Police Brigadier General Rene Pamuspusan, director of Police Regional Office (PRO)-6 lauded the accomplishment of the operating teams and further directed all police units in Western Visayas to strengthen neutralization of all wanted persons in the region.
