BACOLOD City – The 2nd platoon of the Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company (NOCPMFC) based in Hinigaran town received equipment and weapons to be used for internal security operation (ISO).
Police Lieutenant Colonel Ryan Manongdo, force commander, led the turnover of 30 brand new Galil Ace 22N 5.56mm, 100 enhanced combat helmet level III, 150 magazine assembly, and 3,200 rounds (5.56 ammunition) to the personnel on Saturday.
Manongdo said these weapons came from the Philippine National Police (PNP) headquarters as part of the enhancement of the organization.

The weapons will also be used in other police operations, he added.
Also, distributed were four brand new laptops to be utilized by the office personnel.
This is part of the Smart Policing System of the PNP and transformation process to become capable, effective, and credible police force, he said.
