BACOLOD City – The province of Negros Occidental has breached the 5,000 mark in confirmed coronavirus disease or COVID-19 cases.
Data posted on the Facebook page of the provincial government of Negros Occidental showed that the province has tallied 5,055 confirmed cases.
Total active cases totaled 773, recoveries 4,139, and 143 deaths, the data indicated.
Domestic cases accounted for most of the cases at 3,710, followed by locally stranded individuals (LSI) with 773, frontliners with 252, Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROF) with 238, Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APOR) with 58, for classification – 24 and in other provinces – 4.
Negros Occidental has overtaken Bacolod City in the number of cases.
Bacolod Public Information Office data furnished to the media Monday showed that Bacolod has 4,997 cases (4,514 recoveries, 336 actives cases, and 147 deaths).
