ROXAS CITY, Capiz – Negligence on the part of 51 casual employees is the main reason why they have yet to receive their salaries in the past two months.
This was the explanation of Capiz provincial administrator Edwin Monares regarding the unpaid salaries of job order employees of the Roxas Memorial Provincial Hospital.
According Monares, 51 job order employees have yet to receive their salaries for June and July 2019 for failure to submit their Daily Time Records (DTR), which is the most important proof that they indeed worked for the said months.
They also failed to submit their accomplishment reports.
He added that the workers have no Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) registration and ATM bank accounts.
Monares said he reminded the workers of the requirements but until now they have yet to comply.
