The National Basketball League (NBL) is eager to finish their Season 3 Black Arrow Express-President’s Cup through a proposed 11-day bubble plan.
Stated in the 50-page plan by the NBL is a single-location venue for all the games and all the playoff teams will have to be housed and follow strict health protocols.
Before anything else, all players and team members of each team will have to undergo COVID-19 testing and a 14-day quarantine.
All players aged 21 below should be removed from the roster including those in the team staff and personnel.
“NBL-Pilipinas is determined to name a champion for our third season, but we will abide by the government’s directives on the conduct of contact sports in the country,” said chairman Celso “Soy” Mercado.
Mercado said that NBL commissioner John Edward Aquino and vice-president Rhose Montreal already reached out to the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases and they are waiting for their proposal’s approval.
