After winning his first NBA title with the Toronto Raptors, Jeremy Lin is having trouble finding his new home before the season starts.
As an unrestricted free agent, Lin joins a list of other NBA players who have yet to sign with a team.
At an event in Taiwan, Lin expressed his sentiments toward the free agency situation he is facing.
“There’s a saying, and it says once you hit rock bottom, the only way is up, but rock bottom just seems to keep getting more and more rock bottom for me” Lin stated while he bursts into tears.
He added, “So, free agency has been tough. Because I feel like, in some ways, the NBA has kind of given up on me.”
Lin averaged just 3.4 minutes in the 2018-2019 playoffs and only one minute in the finals.
In 2012, Lin’s career rose to stardom when he was dubbed “Linsanity” as he played tremendously in a series of games putting up huge numbers and provided a spark to New York City.
