NBA: Golden State takes down surging Milwaukee to complete redemption win

The Golden State Warriors showed full recovery from their disappointing loss to the Boston Celtics and manhandled the Milwaukee Bucks, 125-90, in the ongoing NBA regular season on March 7, 2024.

Fresh off a lopsided loss to the Celtics several days ago, the Warriors entered the inter-conference matchup laser-focused and were all eyes on the prize.

From only scoring a total of 88 points in four quarters against Boston, Golden State’s high-octane offense was revived in their game against Milwaukee as the squad already dropped 78 points in just the first half.

With their red-hot shooting performance, the Warriors already gained full control of the game heading into the third quarter as they built a commanding 20-point advantage, 78-58.

Milwaukee showed some signs of life in the third quarter after trimming their deficit to just 12 points but the Warriors sent an early exclamation point in the final frame after holding the Bucks to just nine points in the fourth.

Golden State then capitalized on Milwaukee’s unforced errors and continued to run in the break to score off their turnovers, embarrassing them with a 32-point fourth-quarter production.

Stephen Curry was a man on a mission for the Warriors after top-scoring the game with 29 big points built from a 6/10 shooting from the three-point line.

The league’s no. 1 three-point shooter not only dominated the offensive department but he also had an all-around game of eight rebounds and five assists.

Trayce Jackson-Davis, Golden State’s young and upcoming big man, also pulled off a stellar outing after chipping in 15 points derived from an efficient 7/8 shooting from the field.

With the huge win, the Warriors just ended Milwaukee’s six-game winning streak and will look to clinch back-to-back wins today, against the Chicago Bulls.
