ROXAS CITY, Capiz— A 33-year-old woman was found dead Tuesday morning inside her house at Sitio Patio in Barangay Bago, Roxas City.
Police identified the victim as Ma. Luz Peñaroyo, a native of Barangay Balucuan, Dao.
Investigation indicated that the victim was last seen alive on Dec 6, 2019 buying liquor in a nearby store.
Peñaroyo’s neighbors Gabby Estimado and Rodian Bilan discovered her body 7 a.m. Tuesday at the house of Jonathan Bilan, 45, the live-in partner of the victim, to borrow farm implements.
Foul smell from the house met Estimado and Bilan. They later found the lifeless victim on the bed.
Jonathan Bilan had been missing for days already.
Peñaroyo’s underwent autopsy to determine the cause of her death.
