ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A murder case was filed against a man who stabbed dead a resident of New Road Brgy. Banica here.
The Roxas City police filed the case against Rey Denola, 53, of said place before the Roxas City Prosecutors Office Thursday morning.
Police identified the victim as Lemuel Mangao, 40, who was declared dead on arrival in a hospital here.
Investigation by the Roxas City Police Station indicated that Denola went to Mangao’s house last February 18, 2021 and stabbed the victim in the left chest.
According to the victim’s wife Marcelina Mangao, the two held grudges against each other which could be the motive for the incident.
The suspect hurriedly fled after committing the crime and remains at large.
