Metro Pacific Iloilo Water (MPIW) made history as the first-ever Gold winner in the podcast category at the 13th Annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, held at The Venetian Hotel, Macao, China, on April 17, 2026.
The award recognizes “TAP Talk with MPIW,” a weekly talk show that has amassed more than 3 million views by turning complex engineering, utility operations, customer programs, and community initiatives into simple, relatable conversations.
“This Gold Award affirms that transparency, clarity, and human storytelling matter — even in utilities,” emphasized Ms. Beatrice Janine Melliza, Corporate Affairs head, as she received the award on behalf of the company.
“Sharing this win to our team, our partners, and the Iloilo communities who continue to listen, question, and journey with us,” she added.
More than 1,000 nominations from organizations across the Asia-Pacific region were considered this year in categories such as Award for Excellence in Innovation in Products & Services, Award for Innovative Management, and Award for Innovation in Corporate Websites, among many others.
The Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards are the only business awards program that recognizes innovation in the workplace in all 29 markets of the Asia-Pacific region.
The Stevie Awards are widely considered the world’s premier business awards, conferring recognition for achievement through programs such as The International Business Awards® for 24 years.

“The 13th Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards saw an outstanding level of participation and excellence,” said Maggie Miller, president of the Stevie Awards.
“This year’s winners have demonstrated remarkable innovation, creativity, and resilience, and we commend them for raising the bar,” she said.
“We’re delighted to honor many of these organizations and individuals at our awards ceremony,” she added.
For MPIW, this global milestone proves that when truth flows freely, trust follows.
The company remains committed to journeying with the Iloilo community through clear and flowing conversations.
Metro Pacific Iloilo Water is a joint-venture company formed by Metro Pacific Water and Metro Iloilo Water District, focusing specifically on enhancing water services in Iloilo City and surrounding areas.
MPIW plays a crucial role in addressing the region’s water supply challenges through sustainable and efficient management practices. (ADVERTORIAL)
