After Top Rank Promotions chief Bob Arum confirmed that the Johnriel Casimero-Naoya Inoue fight will be called off, the MP (Manny Pacquiao) Promotions shunned his comments and claimed that it is still on.
Sean Gibbons, the MP Promotions president, said that Inoue’s handlers already assured him that he will be flying in from Japan to square off against Casimero for the unification of the bantamweight division.
Also, Gibbons said that the fight will be moved to July, brushing aside cancellation talks.

Arum earlier claimed that Joshua Greer, Casimero’s number one challenger, would replace Inoue in the fight.
“We’re preparing for July. We’re waiting for July. We’re waiting for the Monster,” Gibbons said.
