Two motorcycle-riding men robbed a 24/7 burger joint at Barangay Ticud, La Paz, Iloilo City early morning of Nov. 30.
The two men pretended to be customers of Angel’s Burger and ordered food at around 2:30 a.m. on Thursday.
While food attendant Mary Ann Penepona, 41, of Barangay Culasi, Ajuy, Iloilo and temporarily residing in Ticud, was preparing their food, one of the suspects pulled a gun and poked it at her.
They then forcibly took the food stall’s earnings amounting to around P3,000.
They then fled leaving the victim physically unharmed.
Penepona claimed she could only remember the suspects to be wearing a bonnet while one of them was sporting a green jacket.
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Greg Matutino, Iloilo City Police Station 2 commander, said they’re reviewing CCTV camera footage in the area and neighboring barangays to help in identifying the suspects.
