BACOLOD City – A motorcycle rider died while two others, including a tricycle driver were injured after they figured in a collision at Purok Kawayan, Barangay Tabu, Ilog, Negros Occidental last Thursday.
Police identified the fatality as Judy Hegania, 21, of the said village.
Wounded were Agapito Puyogao, 46, of the said village, and his passenger.
Investigation indicated that Hegania was on his way home from Barangay Tapi, Kabankalan City, when a tricycle driven by Puyogao overlapped on his lane that led to the head-on collision.
Puyogao avoided a damaged part of the road but failed to immediately return to his lane that resulted in the tricycle crashing with the motorcycle.
Hegania succumbed to severe head injuries, while Puyogao and his passenger suffered minor injuries.
