BACOLOD CITY – A man died in a hospital hours after a motorcycle collision in Barangay Bagtic, Silay City, Negros Occidental, last Monday.
The victim, identified as Bartolome Villadar, was a resident of Escalante City.
Police Lt. Col. Mark Anthony Darroca, chief of Silay Police, said Villadar was traveling from Talisay City to E.B. Magalona town when another motorcycle began tailing him.
Darroca reported that Villadar made a sudden left turn and was struck by the tailing motorcycle, driven by a 49-year-old resident of Silay City.
Both riders fell and sustained injuries, but Villadar later succumbed to head injuries.
