Motorcycle driver dead in road mishap

ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A driver of a motorcycle died after he accidentally bumped a truck Monday afternoon, August 5, in Barangay Mianay, Ivisan, Capiz.

The police identified the victim as John Bolarde, 38, of Barangay Matnog, Ivisan who suffered fatal head injuries.

Investigation conducted by Ivisan Municipal Police Station indicated that the victim was on his way home when he bumped a truck driven by Marcelino Abisan, 45, in Barangay Parian, Sigma.

The victim was brought to nearest hospital but the attending physician declared him dead on arrival.

The truck driver voluntarily surrendered to the police while investigation is ongoing.
