BACOLOD City – A business establishment at San Sebastian-Lacson Streets, Barangay 32 here lost P18,000 cash to two unidentified persons last Saturday.
A report from Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), indicated that one of the two perpetrators who pretended to be a client entered Motortrade Incorporated around 3:40 p.m., and approached the cashier.
He then declared the heist while wielding a pistol and took away the money.
The armed suspect then fled along with his companion on a motorcycle. No one was hurt.
The incident happened before the store’s closing time at 5:30 p.m.
Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, public information officer of BCPO, said they don’t have leads on the identities of the perpetrators as of press time.
“It happened in broad daylight,” he added.
Police are still checking footages from closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras of nearby establishments for the possible identification of the perpetrators.
