Most wanted woman in Roxas drug cases arrested

ROXAS CITY, Capiz — A woman ranked No. 2 on the city-level most wanted list and facing three illegal drug cases was arrested Friday afternoon, Jan. 16, at Sitio San Juan, Barangay Baybay, Roxas City.
Police identified the suspect as Christine Blanco, 43, a laborer and resident of the area.
Blanco is facing charges for illegal sale, trading, administration, delivery, distribution, and transportation of dangerous drugs under Republic Act 9165, Section 5, Paragraph 1, in relation to Section 26, docketed as Criminal Case No. C-576-24, with no bail recommended.
She is also charged with illegal possession of dangerous drugs under Section 11 of Republic Act 9165, Criminal Case No. C-577-24, likewise with no bail recommended.
A third case for possession of equipment, instruments, apparatus, and paraphernalia for dangerous drugs under Section 12 of Republic Act 9165, Criminal Case No. C-578-24, carries a recommended bail of PHP 40,000.
The warrant of arrest was issued and signed by Judge Faustino Valenzuela Roxas, acting presiding judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 18 in Roxas City, dated Oct. 14, 2024.
Blanco is currently under the custody of the Roxas City Police for proper disposition.
