More than P400-K worth of drugs seized, 27 nabbed

BACOLOD City – Twenty-seven persons were arrested while P408,184 worth of illegal drugs was seized by police in this city and in Negros Occidental from April 19 to 24, 2022.

Around P301,280 worth of suspected shabu was seized from six persons here, while P106,904 worth of suspected shabu and marijuana were confiscated from 21 individuals in the province.

The buy-bust operations here were conducted in Barangays Tangub, 27, and Vista Alegre.

For the province, the other anti-illegal drug operations were conducted in the cities of Bago, La Carlota, Sagay, San Carlos, Silay, Escalante, Cadiz, and Sipalay, and the towns of Manapla, La Castellana, Candoni, Valladolid, Don Salvador Benedicto, and E.B. Magalona.

The biggest drug haul was reported here last Sunday, with the recovery of P115,600 worth of suspected shabu in Barangay Tangub.
