The officers will be deployed to the 16 towns of Capiz and this city to secure and maintain orderly elections.
According to Police Colonel Canilo A. Fuentes, Capiz police director, they will impose monitoring and security plans to secure the polls.
Fuentes said they will focus on the towns of Pilar, Pres. Roxas, and Maayon because of heated political rivalries and Tapaz due to the presence of the New People’s Army (NPA).
