BACOLOD City – Policemen here and in Negros Occidental seized an estimated P298,200 worth of suspected shabu in separate anti-illegal drug operations from July 17 to 19.
The recent operation was conducted here at Barangay Villamonte yesterday which resulted in the arrest of Rafael Martir, Jerry Limbaga, Jessie Martir, John Philip Laureta, and Jo Ailain Gonzaga.
Police recovered from them 12 sachets of suspected shabu worth P121,200. All suspects are detained at Police Station 4.
Also arrested yesterday at Barangay Singcang-Airport was Edwin Obahib, 42, of the said village, after he allegedly yielded three sachets of suspected shabu worth P68,000, and the P200 marked money. He is detained at Police Station 8.
In Negros Occidental, an estimated P109,000 worth of suspected shabu were also confiscated from 12 suspects from July 17 to 18.
