MORE Power Iloilo turned over to the Iloilo City government on Friday flowerpots that will serve as bike lane protectors.
MORE Power President Roel Castro personally handed the pot to Mayor Jerry Treñas.
The pots were proceeds of the bike-for-a-cause project of MORE Power last Feb. 28, 2021 which attracted 1,407 registered cyclists all over Iloilo City and province.
The participants paid P100 as registration fee and the collected amount totaling P140,700 was used to make concrete flowerpots that were installed as barrier-cum-protectors of the bike lanes in Iloilo bridge sa Diversion Road.

Castro said the bikers deserve the credit for the project as they are the one who made it possible.
“Ini pagpakita sang hantop nga suporta sang mga Ilonggo agud kilalanon gid ang syudad sang Iloilo nga bike capital of the Philippines,” Castro said.
Mayor Treñas also thanked MORE Power and bikers for the project.

“Ang MORE Power makabig na gid nga isa ka partner sang syudad sa pag level up kag indi lang isa ka public utility,” Treñas said.
