The provincial police force replicated the charitable deed of the Maginhawa Community Pantry, which exemplifies the bayanihan spirit among the people in the community amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
The stations will initially provide the goods, along with donations from stakeholders and benevolent donors.
This is open to all and those who lack basic can take whatever they need, while those who have something to give can leave the goods at the pantry.
Police Colonel Romy Palgue, provincial director of Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo), in a statement, said that the good thing about the pandemic is it reminded everyone of the importance of showing compassion and love to others by sharing.
