Key leaders in Roxas City led by Mayor Ronnie Dadivas presented proposals and plans to further improve the Roxas City airport.
On Sunday, Dadivas joined Transportation Secretary Arthur P. Tugade in a visit and inspection of the upgraded facilities of the Roxas City Airport and the Motor Vehicle Inspection Center.
Also present in the meeting were Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines Director General Capt. Jim Sydiongco, Undersecretary Garry de Guzman, Asst. Secretary Bandy Lopez, Administrator Raul del Rosario, Asst. Secretary Jim Melo and Philippine Ports Authority General Manager Jay Santiago, Mr. Joey Marquez and Ms. Judith Azarcon-Marquez
The Capiz Halaran Chamber of Commerce and Industry represented Mr. Bub Ong was given the opportunity to discuss with Sec. Tugade possible plans for the improvement of the airport which includes the runway extension and other development projects beneficial for the economy and tourism industry of Roxas City.
