BACOLOD City – Twenty-seven more personnel of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) have recovered from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Police Lieutenant Liberty Indiape, BCPO information officer, said there were 55 COVID-19 recoveries among the more than 80 infected cops, as of May 13, 2021.
Last week, 28 BCPO personnel also survived the infection.
Indiape said that most of them have already returned to their respective duties.
She added that new cases of COVID infection among BCPO personnel is now manageable as they only have 35 active cases.
Meanwhile, the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Nocppo) has breached the 100 mark of COVID cases in the province.
However, despite the said figure, the provincial police force also noted an increase in their recoveries, with only 36 active cases.
