BACOLOD City – Negros Occidental got another batch of 120 vials of Astrazeneca vaccines, which is equivalent to 1,200 doses, Provincial Incident Management Team head Dr. Zeaphard Gerhart Caelian said Tuesday.
70 vials came from the Department of Health regional office and 50 from Bacolod City, Caelian added.
The vaccines were transported Monday by PIMT personnel to the Provincial Health Office cold storage in Bacolod City for inoculation of more medical frontliners of the provincial government of Negros Occidental.
The last shipment of 3,430 vials of Sinovac vaccine was dispatched by DOH regional office 6 to the provincial government of Negros Occidental and Bacolod City government, respectively.
Caelian said he is not aware when the next batch of vaccines to be sent by DOH will arrive in Negros Occidental.
