BACOLOD City – Lone District Congressman Greg Gasataya said that he will provide more ambulances to all 61 barangays here.
Earlier, Gasataya announced that he facilitated the release of seven ambulances from the Department of Health.
The ambulances will be used for emergency cases involving residents in the outskirts of the city.
The seven barangays that will soon have new ambulances are Mansilingan, Handumanan, Felisa, Cabug, Pta Taytay, Tangub and Banago.
Gasataya said these barangays are highly populated and are situated outside the city.
The ambulances cost about P2 million each and are fully equiped.
“There will be no cost on the part of the recipient barangays. They will just have to take charge of maintaining the ambulances,” he added.
