ROXAS CITY, Capiz – The provincial government of Capiz opened the new Molecular Laboratory at Barangay Lanot here that will test high risk contacts of suspected COVID-19 cases.
The blessings and opening was led by Capiz Governor Esteban Evan “Nonoy” Contreras and former governors Jose Borda, Vicente Bermejo, Esteban Contreras and Victor Tanco Sr.
The occasion was also attended by Dr. Marlyn Convocar, Regional Director of the Department of Health – Region 6.
Convocar pledged financial support for the operations of the laboratory test that will cater not less than 200 patients per day.
