BACOLOD City – The local government of Moises Padilla, Negros Occidental purchased a brand rescue vehicle to help upland folks in times of emergency.
Mayor Ella Garcia Yulo said Thursday that the rescue vehicle costs P1.4 million and was funded by the town’s disaster response budget.
The vehicle was delivered Wednesday in the presence of the mayor and other town officials
Yulo said “this will greatly benefit the people especially in far-flung barangays since they often times have problems transporting patients from those areas.”
This is the first rescue vehicle purchased under the present administration and the third rescue vehicle purchased by the town since Yulo first became a mayor in 2013.
