The Philippine Statistics Authority conducted a four-day Mobile Civil Registration System operation at the Guimaras Provincial Capitol Grounds in Jordan, Guimaras, from May 18 to 21, 2026, as part of the Manggahan Festival 2026 celebration.
The activity was part of PSA’s continuing effort to bring government services closer to the public.
The Mobile CRS operation was carried out by PSA-Guimaras through the initiative of Chief Statistical Specialist Nelida B. Losare, with the assistance of Registration Officer II Grace Buenasalbas and the support of Regional Director Nelida C. Amolar.
“The activity aimed to provide residents, festival-goers, and clients with more accessible and convenient civil registration services during one of the province’s biggest annual celebrations,” Provincial Statistics Officer Nelida B. Losare said.
Through the Mobile CRS outlet, clients gained easier access to authenticated civil registry documents, such as birth, marriage, and death certificates printed on security paper, or SECPA.
The mobile service allowed clients to avail themselves of PSA services within the province, eliminating the need to travel to neighboring provinces or regular CRS outlets outside Guimaras.
“During the four-day activity, a total of 491 clients were successfully served, while 924 SECPA copies of civil registry documents were released to clients,” Losare said.
The activity recorded a steady influx of clients throughout the operation, with many residents taking advantage of the opportunity to secure needed documents while participating in festival activities.
The Mobile CRS operation highlighted PSA’s continuing commitment to delivering efficient, responsive, and people-centered frontline services through mobile outreach initiatives.
“It also supports the agency’s goal of making civil registration services more accessible, especially during major community gatherings and provincial events where more individuals can be reached,” Losare said.
The activity also demonstrated the importance of interagency collaboration and local government support in ensuring the successful delivery of public services.
“The Provincial Government of Guimaras provided support for the conduct of the activity at the festival venue, helping ensure that services were made available to the public in a safe and accessible environment,” Losare said.
The successful implementation of the Mobile CRS operation during the Manggahan Festival 2026 reflected PSA’s continuing work to improve public service delivery and keep essential civil registration services within reach of Filipinos.
“PSA-Guimaras extends its gratitude to all partner agencies, stakeholders, and clients who contributed to and participated in the successful conduct of the four-day Mobile CRS operation,” Losare said.
