Mobile Civil Registration System (CRS) activities continued in Guimaras in the second quarter of 2026, reinforcing the efforts of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Guimaras Provincial Statistical Office to make civil registry services more accessible and convenient for the public.
One of the Mobile CRS activities was conducted on April 16, 2026, at the PSA Guimaras Provincial Statistical Office, G/F Galanto Building, San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras.
A total of 294 clients were served, and 692 copies of civil registry documents printed on Security Paper (SECPA) were released, generating a total collection of PHP 79,970.00.
“The activity was initiated as part of the office’s continuing efforts to bring PSA services closer to the communities and minimize the need for clients to travel outside the province to secure their documents,” Provincial Statistics Officer Nelida B. Losare said.
“This initiative was conducted upon the request of PSA Guimaras to make civil registry services more accessible, allowing residents to secure their Security Paper (SECPA) copies of civil registry documents without traveling far from their municipalities,” Losare added.
Mobile CRS activities were made possible through the guidance and support of PSA Regional Director Nelida C. Amolar and the dedication of the Regional Office 6 Mobile CRS team.
“Through the Mobile CRS, clients are able to conveniently request and receive copies of their birth, marriage, and death certificates in a timely and efficient manner,” Losare said.
Losare also said another Mobile CRS activity is scheduled in May 2026 in line with the celebration of the Manggahan Festival.
PSA Guimaras will participate in the provincial government’s service fair to reach more clients across the province.
“The PSA Guimaras Provincial Statistical Office remains committed to sustaining Mobile CRS operations in the coming months to ensure wider access to civil registration services for all Guimarasnons,” Losare said.
