Metro Iloilo Water District in cooperation with its two joint venture companies with Metro Pacific Investments Corporation – Metro Iloilo Bulk Water Supply Corp (MIB) and Metro Iloilo Water (MIW) – donated P300,000 to the Iloilo City Government as additional assistance in its COVID-19 relief efforts.
Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas accepted the donation from Amarylis Josephine Castro of Metro Iloilo Water District, John Cañonero of Metro Iloilo Water and Al Orbista of Metro Iloilo Bulk Water Supply Corp.
Last month, the three water utility companies donated around P1.2 million pesos worth of medical supplies and relief goods to Iloilo City and the seven municipalities in the Province of Iloilo.
Just last week, the three companies also donated P517,000 worth of COVID-19 testing kits to the City Government.
